# Tyson Fury Trainer Ben Davison DENIES Joe Joyce Sparring Rumours

Tyson Fury’s trainer Ben Davison has moved swiftly to deny rumours that Fury *(27-0, 19 KO’s)* knocked out fellow Brit and Olympic silver medalist Joe Joyce *(6-0, 6 KO’s)* in sparring.

The ‘Gypsy King’ is preparing for his WBC World heavyweight title showdown with Deontay Wilder *(40-0, 39 KO’s)* in Big Bear, California, and has also seen British cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie *(10-0, 7 KO’s)* travel out for sparring ahead of his quest to reclaim the heavyweight throne.

However, recent rumours have circulated that during a sparring session Fury knocked out Joyce – and Davison has taken to social media to deny those rumours.

He said: *“Some rumours about Tyson and Joe sparring, not true, joe is a class act, has helped massively in preparation, and he is a force to be reckoned with. Nobody got knocked out. Rumours = False.”*

Davison went on to reply to several tweets to further deny the rumours, and remains fully focused on preparing Fury for his first attempt at regaining a World title since returning to the ring in June of this year after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus from the sport.

Last week Joyce, who claimed the Commonwealth heavyweight title in only his fourth professional bout, posted on social media endorsing Fury as the *“the most talented \[boxer\] I’ve been in the ring with.”*

Neither Joyce or Fury have commented on the situation, however, Joyce has retweeted Davison’s tweet as the Fury camp look to quash this speculation as soon as possible.
