# UFC Heavyweight Champion Calls Out Joshua Again

Now that [Wladimir Klitschko is retired](https://boxing-social.com/news/wladimir-klitschko-officially-retired/) and officially out of the picture, Anthony Joshua has a couple of challenges ahead of him.

The defending heavyweight king is already being linked to [fighting against IBF mandatory challenger Kubrat Pulev](https://boxing-social.com/news/eddie-hearn-comments-joshuas-next-fight/) later this year. There are also rumours about a possible heavyweight clash against WBC champion, Deontay Wilder.

But another heavyweight has been actively mentioning Joshua – UFC champion, Stipe Miocic.

> . @anthonyfjoshua looks like your schedule is wide open. No excuses, let's dance! [#BaddestManOnThePlanet](https://twitter.com/hashtag/BaddestManOnThePlanet?src=hash&ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)

“Looks like your schedule is wide open,” tweeted Miocic.

This certainly isn’t the first time the American has called out Joshua. Earlier this summer, [Miocic tweeted to Joshua](https://boxing-social.com/news/ufc-champion-continues-mocking-joshua-not-even/) in hopes of a match on the undercard of Mayweather-McGregor. That obviously did not come to fruition and at this point, it’s highly unlikely Joshua will fight against Miocic anytime soon.
