This past weekend’s “fight” between KSI and Tommy Fury was not the most enjoyable spectacle to watch, and both men have come under criticism in the aftermath.
Fury is known as the professional boxer, and as such has perhaps received slightly more flack, as many observers were expecting him to defeat the YouTuber in much more emphatic fashion than he did.
MMA star and former UFC title challenger, Darren Till, has weighed in with his two cents, and has not pulled any punches.
In a post fight interview with SecondsOut, Till described Fury as “awful” before adding he would “comatose” every fighter on the card.
“I’m here looking for a fight. Tommy Fury, bless him. He’s a good guy and I like his family, but he’s awful. They’re all awful. I’d fight every one of them in the one night and I’d comatose them all – I promise you.”
“I’m at the best gym at the Rotunda in Liverpool with Joe Mac, working with Liam Smith, Callum Smith, Josh Taylor and all the guys. I’ll comatose these guys, I promise you.”
“We’re living in hell right now, that’s how bad it was.”
Fury squeaked through with a majority decision victory on the night, edging out KSI in affair in which very few punches were landed due to huge amounts of clinching from both men.
The result was changed to a unanimous decision in the days after – due to one of the judges incorrectly adding up his scoring for each round.
It is unclear what ‘TNT’s next move will be, as he stated in his post fight interview that he was done with crossover boxing, however also claimed he wants to fight Logan Paul.
