Sky Sports Box Office has officially secured the rights to show the August 20 World Heavyweight title rematch between Oleksandr Usyk and Anthony Joshua.
The news was revealed this morning on the Sky Sports Boxing Twitter feed which now ends speculation where UK fight fans will get to tune in and watch. No price has been revealed at this stage.

Sky and Joshua will be reunited once again despite ‘AJ’ parting ways with the broadcasting giant and putting pen to paper on a deal with DAZN. The British star’s future fights will be shown exclusively on the sports app after next month’s clash in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The news will undoubtedly please Sky’s Head of Boxing Adam Smith who had hoped Joshua would re-sign with the company who has worked with the former champion since his professional debut. Sky has showed all of the 32-year-old’s pro fights and developed him into a pay-per-view fighter during that time.
Sky Sports Box Office was also the home for Joshua’s two defeats to date in his career. His shocking loss to Andy Ruiz Jr in 2019, which he avenged later that year, and the loss to Usyk at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in September 2021.
Usyk proved on the night that size and strength is not a match when you have a superior skillset, something which the Ukrainian will look to prove once again next month when he defends his WBA, IBF and WBO titles.
For Joshua another successful rematch will see him become a three-time heavyweight champion before moving on to the next chapter in his career with DAZN.
And the 2012 Olympic Gold Medallist will hope that new trainer Robert Garcia will sprinkle some of his Californian magic on Joshua in a fight where he goes in as the underdog.
