The Oleksandr Usyk-Anthony Joshua world heavyweight title rematch will take place at the 40,000 capacity Jeddah Super Dome in Saudi Arabia.
Sky Sports reported the news describing the venue as a ‘Record-breaking state of the art arena’.
The highly anticipated return of both fighters is still to be officially announced with reports earlier in the week stating that a new date will have to be found due to broadcasting issues.
In December 2019 Joshua became a two-time champion when he defeated Andy Ruiz in their own rematch which also took place in the Middle East. The Londoner will have a new man in his corner when he faces Usyk once more after it was announced that Robert Garcia would be his new trainer.
Meanwhile the Ukrainian’s profile has been far more low key. The WBA, WBO and IBF champion has been pictured in training camp while posting on social media about his continued support for his homeland who continue to be embroiled in a war with Russia.
