As negotiations for an undisputed fight between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk drag on, the Ukrainian has today issued yet another public message to ‘The Gypsy King.’
It seems like crunch time if a deal is to be done between the pair, as the touted date of April 29th looms ever closer.
And Usyk took to his official Twitter account to issue a probing message to Fury – accompanied by some rather bizarre props.
He posted a photo of himself looking like a gym spartan by wearing a cycling helmet whilst holding a barbell and a large hook pad, with the following caption:
“Belly! How is your mood state?! April 29? #RABBIT_belly”

After talks with representatives from Saudi Arabia fell through, Wembley Stadium now looks set to be the venue if the historic clash is going to take place.
Although Usyk had already negotiated a deal of his own with a consortium from the Kingdom, Fury failed to do the same and thus has plunged the fight into doubt.
A fresh set of talks are believed to be underway, though it is believed Fury will expect the lion’s share of the revenue if the fight is to take place in his native Britain.
It is believed Fury will fight on the 29th regardless of whether Usyk is in the opposite corner or not, and the likes of Joe Joyce, Anthony Joshua and even former UFC star Francis Ngannou are being banded about as potential alternative opponents.
Boxing fans are hoping they won’t be adding this to a long list of mega-fights that never happened. If the contest does materialise, it will be the first undisputed heavyweight title fight of the four belt era.
