# Usyk’s Promoter Compares Dealing With Tyson Fury To Anthony Joshua

Oleksandr Usyk’s promoter Alex Krassyuk has gave a frank assessment of trying to arrange a fight for Usyk with Tyson Fury compared to Anthony Joshua.

Team Usyk have been in talks with ‘The Gypsy King’s representatives for over three months now, [and fans still remain uncertain as to whether a legacy defining undisputed clash](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/usyks-promoter-fury-fight-unlikely/).

And Krassyuk, when asked to [contrast the process with dealing with Joshua’s team](https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/eddie-hearn-confirms-signing-contract-27192035), did not hold back.

Speaking on [ID Boxing](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yxy_tYIkqDI&t=1367s), he said:

> “Its been a nightmare \[Fury negotiations\].
>
> “With Eddie, we did some sort of job. We had three fights as co promoters, then the two fights with ‘AJ.’ So we had five fights together.”
>
> “According to my experience, I need to give credit to Matchroom and Eddie, because I enjoy watching how they work. I like it. The negotiations never last long. It’s tranparent, it’s open – if we accept it, we accept it, if we don’t want to do it, we don’t do it. There’s no wasting each other’s time.”
>
> “With ‘AJ,’ it wasn’t really complicated. No stress.”

In a dramatic few days, Fury publicly offered Usyk a 70/30 purse split for the fight, which most felt was a lowball offer and would be turned down by the unified world champion.

[However, Usyk accepted within a matter of hours,](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/usyk-accepts-fury-offer/) and the WBA confirmed they would not be ordered him to face Daniel Dubois next as they had received communication that the two teams had agreed terms for a fight on April 29th at Wembley Stadium.

[The boxing world will hold its breath over the next week in the hope of an official announcement](https://wp.boxing-social.com/news/frank-warren-adamant-fury-usyk-happens/), with the touted fight date just over six weeks away.
