Frank Warren says Tyson Fury is in no rush to confirm his next fight.
WBC heavyweight champion Fury will likely be ordered to face Interim title holder Dillian Whyte at the upcoming WBC convention, though Warren insists ‘The Gypsy King’ will do whatever is best for him regardless.
Fury was last in the ring for his epic trilogy bout with Deontay Wilder last month – knocking out the American in the 11th round after touching down twice himself.
“I don’t think anything will happen until the WBC has their convention which is later this month,” Warren said to TalkSport. “I don’t think that’s going to happen until then.
“There is no rush from Tyson’s perspective. As I’ve said to everybody, it doesn’t matter what anybody says. He will do what he wants to do. If the deal is right he’ll do it. If he doesn’t want to do it, he won’t do it. He’s his own man.”
