Wasserman Boxing have announced today a broadcast deal with Channel 5 in the UK.
The multi-event deal on the free-to-air channel has been described as a ‘major move’ by Kalle Sauerland, head of global boxing for Wasserman.
“This is a major move that is going to revolutionise free-to-air boxing in the UK.” Channel 5 also broadcast shows promoted by Hennessy Sports. And with Wasserman now on their network it makes them a leading player in the UK boxing market.
Wasserman houses the likes of world middleweight title contender Chris Eubank Jr, welterweight Josh Kelly, heavyweight Nathan Gorman and more.
“We are going to deliver premium events featuring breath-taking productions, filled arenas and incredible match ups. Also expect a surprise or two in the build ups. We can’t wait to get started.”
Caj Sohal, Head of Sport at Channel 5 says he is excited to be teaming up with Wasserman.

Wasserman and Sauerland teamed up to create Wasserman Boxing in March 2021. Their star name Chris Eubank Jr last fought on Sky Sports beating Liam Williams on points in Wales.
