The WBO and IBF are set to hold a historic joint press conference in December, marking an unknown collaboration between the two governing bodies.
It is believed the event will take place between December 9th and 13th in Orlando, Florida.
Announcing the collaboration, the World Boxing Organisation stated that “history will be made.”
At present, it remains unclear what topics will be discussed during the press conference.
The announcement comes following Dana White and Zuffa Boxing’s entrance into the sport, placing all of boxing’s governing bodies under increased focus.
