Last weekend Floyd Mayweather and Anthony Joshua met in London and possibly announced a partnership on the side. ‘Money’ believes Joshua should definitely travel to his gym in Las Vegas and improve his defense under Mayweather’s tutelage.
“He showed that he had heart [against Klitschko] but we have to bring him up to the Mayweather Boxing Club as we want to tighten that defense up until it’s real, real sharp and real, real slick. I’m not trying to move his trainers out the way but there’s things we want to tweak,” said Mayweather.
Floyd believes Joshua could have knocked out Wladimir Klitschko sooner than in the 11th round.
“Joshua’s last fight went 11 rounds but really it could have gone three. He came out and the fight was going his way but then the fight shifted and I thought, ‘oh s**t!’ But this m****r f****r got some dog in him. After that fight he was praising his trainers but I gotta praise [him] as it was [Joshua] in there fighting. When he was knocked down on the floor, he got up and he kept fighting.”
Whilst Mayweather and Joshua we’re signing autographs and posing for the cameras, a new duo have gone to verbal war against the British world champion and Floyd.
Cue in G-Unit’s own 50 Cent and the Brown Bomber, Deontay Wilder.

Wilder is expected to face Joshua at some point in the future, possibly next year according to Eddie Hearn. With 50 Cent officially backing Wilder and Floyd being in cahoots with Joshua, it’s clear the back and forth social media jabbing won’t stop here.
It’s on.
