Unfortunately for Whyte, there hasn’t been any confirmation or announcement from the WBC which would state other than the fact that it was a final eliminator bout and Breazeale is next in line.

Still, Whyte is focused on getting a crack at the WBC World heavyweight champion. He’s ready to fight Wilder in February at the O2.

After his knockout victory over Bermane Stiverne, Wilder made it clear that he wants nothing to do with Whyte, calling him ‘a peasant’.

“King’s don’t chase peasants. They trying to give me the peasant without the king on the contract. I want Joshua,” stated Wilder during his post fight speech.
