Rashed Belhasa will make his professional debut on a world title fight undercard later this month.
The YouTuber, who had been set to fight former legend of the game Floyd Mayweather earlier this year, is known as ‘Money Kicks’.
Belhasa has found himself with a spot on the undercard of Anthony Joshua’s bid to regain the heavyweight championships from Oleksandr Usyk on August 20.
‘AJ’ meets the Ukrainian in a rematch for the WBA Super, IBF, IBO and WBO crowns in the sport’s premier division at the Jeddah Superdome in Saudi Arabia, with it being aired exclusively live in the UK and Ireland on Sky Sports Box Office at a price of £26.95.
And Belhasa will face a Brit on the card in the shape of Kyle Paevie.
Paevie debuted in November 2021 and has fought three times to date, losing all of those fights: two via knockout and one via decision.
‘Money Kicks‘ took to social media to make the announcement:
“[I have] put in months of hard work and hope to make my country proud and fly the flag high for all the Emiratis & Arabs around the world.”
“Big thanks to my team and everyone involved!”
Belhasa has had two fights, though they weren’t classed as professional, and looks to have been given the opportunity of a lifetime to shine on the big stage.
He has a reported net worth of $4million (£2.9million) and beat fellow Emirati YouTube star Anas Elshayib via unanimous decision before knocking out Ajmal Khan three months later in his fights up until this point.
He concluded:
“It’s go time.”
Belhasa has rubbed shoulders with Joshua before, having had the Olympic gold medal-winning amateur visit the mansion owned by his father, and will get to do so again in just over a fortnight’s time.
