Eddie Hearn Comments On Fury’s ‘Special Message’ And Reveals A List Of Options For Tyson

It’s no secret that Tyson Fury and Eddie Hearn are not the best of friends in the boxing business.

Fury is known for taking verbal jabs at the promoter once in a while, especially on social media. The latest one was posted by Fury this week titled ‘special message to Eddie Hearn.

Hearn commented on his relationship with Fury and also responded to the video in an interview with Sky Sports.

“I’ve got a strange relationship with Tyson Fury.

“When I see him we have a really nice time together and I almost think he likes me. Then I looked at his Instagram and he’s telling me otherwise,” commented Hearn.

The promoter revealed that he’s already had talks with Fury about the possible fight against the current WBA, IBF & IBO champion, Anthony Joshua.

“Team Joshua are over the moon because we want as many contenders as possible and we want the biggest fights, and Tyson Fury has to go down on that list.

“Tyson knows he has to come back in a fight or two, but we’re ready and waiting.

“We’ve had a couple of texts backwards and forwards about his idea of how a deal should work. He wants a lot more than a 50/50 split, he’s already told me.

“Certainly that’s a fight that’s on everybody’s minds right now,” said Hearn.

The boxing world gained good news earlier this week when UK Anti-Doping announced that Fury’s ban had been lifted. The former world heavyweight champion still needs to get his license back from the British Boxing Board of Control and then it’s fight time.

But the question remains against who? Hearn gave three options.

“The good news is he’s now served his ban. It looks almost inevitable that we’ll see him return to boxing, which is great for the sport.

“We’ve got three fights for him. He can fight Dillian Whyte on the comeback, then Tony Bellew and then he can have Anthony Joshua.”

Bellew has already accepted Fury’s call out and the two have been going at it verbally on social media and television. ‘The Bomber’ has confirmed that he will fight David Haye first and then face Fury.
