Frank Bruno: Boxing needs Fury
“He is a very good and under-estimated boxer. It will be nice for him to come back, he is a character, and boxing needs him. “If him and Anthony Joshua fight, you will need an even bigger stadium than Wembley.” Bruno jokingly suggested of the match which could potentially become the biggest in British boxing history.
There has been movement on that front edging that fight closer to fruition, with the British Boxing Board of Control general secretary, Robert Smith confirmed that, the hold up to reaching a resolution in Tyson Fury’s UK anti-doping hearing is down to Fury and his legal team not confirming a date to recommence, while stressing they want a conclusion to the scenario ‘as much as anyone’.
