Former UFC fighter, then turned professional boxer Tim Hague has passed away after receiving a brutal knockout loss this past weekend.

Hague, 34, died in a hospital after being knocked out by Adam Braidwood. He was in critical condition all weekend and passed away late Sunday evening.

His opponent, Braidwood, had a professional record of 7-1 with six wins coming via knockout. Before what turned out to be his last fight, Hague was 1-2 as a boxer. Hague left MMA behind with a record of 21-13, eight losses coming via knockout.

Before his fight against Braidwood, Hague had lost via TKO last December in the first round.
