Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall 2
This fight between Taylor (19-1) and Catterall (28-1) is one of the most high-anticipated rematches in recent boxing memory.
Their first fight in February 2022, of which was for undisputed status in the super-lightweight division, ended in a controversial Josh Taylor split-decision points victory.
The world of boxing went into meltdown the second the decision was announced, with the large majority of boxing fans and experts believing that Jack Catterall had done enough to defeat the reigning and defending champion in his backyard.
A bitter rivalry already existed, consequently grew, and now delivers the appropriately named ‘Hate Runs Deep’ event which will take place on 25th May at the First Direct Arena in Leeds but, this time, there will be no titles on the line, just a score to settle. This event has been rescheduled from 27th April due to an ongoing medical issue for Josh Taylor.
