Andy Ruiz Jr has created a poster for a hypothetical match up with Tyson Fury – prompting Fury to respond in typical fashion.
Ruiz shared the poster to his Twitter account on Saturday night with the caption “My time will come, primero dios (first God).
Total annihilation.
Seems you will fight in final eliminator to fight me the @WBCBoxing king 👑 https://t.co/bPRZGnLrMr

Fury did not waste any time in replying to ‘The Destroyer,’ taking to his own Twitter to say a potential fight with the Mexican-American would be ‘total annihilation.’ Fury did remain open to the fight, referencing the fact Ruiz seems to be in line for a final eliminator next summer for a shot at Fury’s WBC world title.
That eliminator is most likely to be against three-time Fury foe Deontay Wilder – provided he gets through his comeback opponent Robert Helenius this weekend.
A fight between Wilder and Ruiz would be the biggest all American heavyweight fight in decades, and shouldn’t prove too difficult to make, with both fighters signed to Al Haymon’s PBC.
After failing to gain momentum following defeat in his rematch with Anthony Joshua in 2019, Ruiz propelled himself back in the mix at the top of the heavyweight division with a win over skilled veteran Luiz Ortiz last month.
His victory over Anthony Joshua in their first fight to claim the unified heavyweight crown shocked the world, and Ruiz is now seemingly only fight away from getting the opportunity to upset yet another Brit in the shape of Tyson Fury.
