We’ve heard the news about Las Vegas and we have read the comments from Hearn about Wladimir Klitschko willingness to accept the fight.
But Anthony Joshua still needs an alternative plan if The Ukrainian refuses to tussle again. And luckily he’s got one.
“The ball is in Klitschko’s court. I am going to continue my career. It is up to him whether he wants to have a rematch or whether he says, ‘You know what, that’s enough’. But I think, whatever he decides to do, we all respect him, and plan B would be looking at the option with Pulev, and where we would fight him and the options available for the Pulev fight,” revealed Joshua according to The Daily Mail.
According to Hearn, it all pretty much depends on if the venue and event are big enough for Klitschko, who apparently enjoyed fighting in front of sold out Wembley despite losing. Joshua believes Vegas should do the trick.
“Vegas – it is the Mecca of boxing, and this is an opportunity. People wouldn’t mind travelling, and it is a nice big hurrah for himself. He has achieved so much, does he have the motivation? I think Vegas will get his blood boiling again,” commented Joshua.
