Anthony Joshua has weighed in on Dillon Danis’ relentless social media attacks on Logan Paul’s fiancé, Nina Agdal.
The two-fight UFC competitor and online troll is set to fight Paul in a crossover bout on a Misfits card come October 14. In the lead-up, he has called his opponent’s partner a ‘whore’ and shared countless pictures and videos of her.
Speaking to the promotion, Joshua said anything goes.
“Do you know what, I’ll be real. In this game of boxing there are no rules. The internet is undefeated.
All your information is out there at the end of the day. What you put out there will always come back around full circle. Unfortunately, they’re using this as a war tactic – and you are at war. So there are no low blows. Anything’s acceptable in the art of war.”
Unfortunately for Danis, 30, there are rules as to his vile posting, and legal action is now being taken against him. It’s unclear whether or not he makes it to the ring, as he already has a reputation for not doing so even before these ramifications.
Asked how he would handle the situation personally, Joshua said it would be his team that an opponent need worry about.
“Me, I keep a cool head. But I don’t think the people around me would let him reach the fight, because sometimes if someone pushes the buttons too much I think it gets a bit personal. I don’t think many people around me would be too happy.”
Paul and Danis are set to prop up the main event of KSI vs Tommy Fury on October 14 in Manchester.
