Joseph Parker is just a few days away from the biggest fight of his career. He has been bullish about coming into this mammoth unification clash in his absolute optimum condition.
Parker says that his camp has been ‘tremendous’ and he is looking forward to showcasing his full capabilities inside the squared circle this weekend.

Parker is assured in his belief that he will be bringing home the unified WBO, WBA, IBF and IBO world heavyweight championship with him after March 31st.
“We’ve had a great build-up, we’ve had a tremendous camp, had some great sparring sessions and a lot of pain but we’ve embraced it,” Parker said.
“I’m looking forward to putting on the best Joseph Parker there is.”
“I feel ready, I feel confident, I feel sharp. My movement is better than ever. I’m taking those belts back to New Zealand and Samoa.”

‘AJ’s trainer, Rob McCracken, however, is not expecting the sternest test of his young powerhouse’s career. McCracken believes that, that feat will be Klitschko’s to boast about.
“I think Klitschko is his toughest test to date without a shadow of a doubt,” McCracken said.
“Fifty-six or something knockouts … I think that’s his biggest test and this is the next biggest – It’s a hurdle Anthony’s got to get over.”
Anthony Joshua himself believes he has seen vulnerabilities in the New Zealander’s armoury in regards to his ability to catch and shoot.
“The difference is I know how to counter-punch,” said Joshua.
“I haven’t seen Parker counter-punching, anyone.”

Joshua envisages that Parker’s inability to counterpunch will lead to him being broken down and ‘AJ’ expects a stoppage as we approach the championship rounds.
“I’ll punish him when he’s throwing at me, and I’ll punish him when he’s thinking of throwing at me. I’ll break him down.”
“Rounds five to eight, it’ll be a tough night. But, if everything goes to plan I think Parker will fade between round eight and nine;” Joshua concluded.
