Conor Benn’s Undefeated Opponent Says He Will Floor Him And Make Him Take A Knee

Conor Benn continues to remain more active on social media than in the boxing ring and has now retorted to his next undefeated opponent who claims he will floor him and make him take a knee.

That man is Peter Dobson, a once-promising prospect who has struggled to keep busy. He is now 33 and has a ledger that reads 16 wins from 16 fights, but he is yet to fight a full 12-round bout.

He hasn’t fought since June 2022 but has promised that Benn will “get his a** whooped” and added that “‘Pistol’ Pete Dobson is about to ruin another Matchroom hype job.”

Ever since returning two adverse analytical findings in drug tests prior to his ill-fated with Chris Eubank Jr back in October 2022, Benn has been fighting to clear his name, so far unsuccessfully.

He remains without a license to fight on British shores and his last contest was in the US against Rodolfo Orozco back in September 2023 when he won on points over 10 rounds.

This contest takes place on February 3 in Las Vegas and both men have spoken to Matchroom about how they see it going, beginning with Dobson.

“| see my hand being raised at the end of the night, I see him on the floor a couple of times, I don’t know if it gets stopped but I see him taking a knee and I know my hand gets raised at the end of the fight.”

Benn then claimed he will knock him man out.

“He knows it ain’t going 12 rounds. I don’t care what he says, talk is cheap. Pistol Pete, it’s not going 12 rounds, bro. Come fight night I’m going to do what I say I’m going to do.”

The fight will be shown live in the UK on DAZN.
