However, another captivating all British clash is set to grip the nation in February. The fight is, of course, the World Boxing Super Series semi-final between IBO world super middleweight champion, Chris Eubank Jr and WBA super middleweight titleholder, George Groves.
Billy Joe Saunders has endured a long and bitter rivalry with Chris Eubank Jr, both fighters making have traded verbal barbs back and forth over the years.
Despite that, Saunders believes his old rival will come out triumphant in his fight with ‘The Saint’ George Groves.
“I think that Eubank will beat George Groves. If he does what I think he will against Groves people will be talking.”
“I think there is a 75 percent chance that Eubank wins,” Saunders said to Boxing News.
Groves has been hurt when mixing it at the elite level in the sport.

Carl Froch emphatically knocked Groves cold in their highly anticipated 2014 rematch which was also ‘The Cobra’s final swansong of his professional career.
Saunders believes Groves’ chin will be the crucial factor once again and sees him being unable to stand up to the expected Eubank onslaught. Saunders says a durable chin is necessary when taking on Eubank Jr.
Additionally, the Hatfield fighter says his pure boxing style of fighting coupled with his grit and toughness makes him a puzzle that Eubank Jr will never be able to solve.
Eubank is a very, very good fighter but when a very, very good boxer with a good chin meets someone like him … it’s game over,” Saunders said.
Furthermore, Saunders added that he believes he will always have Eubank’s number if they were to meet once again in a rematch.
“When two fighters are in the ring, you know each other and I know Eubank better than anybody,” Saunders said.

“He knows that I have the knack to beat him no matter how many times we meet,” Saunders stated.
“Mentally he knows that I have his number. I gave Eubank his chance to rematch three times, three times I signed a contract and sent it to him and three times he never sent it back.”
