A brawl erupted outside of the final press conference ahead of DAZN and Misfits Boxing’s latest crossover event in Austin, Texas.
The drama was started by inactive MMA fighter, Dillon Danis, who’s famous for being Conor McGregor’s sparring partner once upon a time. Since then Danis spends his time calling out people like KSI and Jake Paul, but never seems to step in the ring.
After confronting and slapping KSI – who set up Misfits – in the building, Danis was ejected and came face to face with Anthony Taylor – another MMA fighter who’s beginning a boxing career.
Taylor is known amongst boxing fans for losing to Tommy Fury and being Jake Paul’s sparring partner. He featured on Floyd Mayweather’s undercard recently in an exhibition against a former Love Island winner, Jack Fincham.
Taylor told Danis to fight him instead of KSI, and hounded him until one broke out. Both of their teams threw punches – some more successful than others – until it was broken up, as captured by IFL TV.

Although neither man is fighting on the DAZN broadcast this weekend, this fracas perhaps points to the sort of problems that can arise from these crossover events.
Attention, clicks, and drama are the currency in this world, and when you get some you’re in with a chance of a slot on the next event – that means a big payday and more clout.
Danis and Taylor are two men who always manage to find the lens of the camera, and perhaps it’s right that the two settle whatever differences they have in the ring – like it or not, isn’t that what this side of boxing is all about?
