According to promoters Carl Greaves and Stefy Bull, John Wayne Hibbert and Curtis Woodhouse will fight on the 24th of February next year. The fight was first confirmed on Twitter by Bull.

According to reports, Woodhouse was going to fight Frankie Gavin, but Hibbert’s promoter Carl Greaves said that he and Bull had already made a verbal agreement on Woodhouse-Hibbert.
“Dennis Hobson offered Frankie Gavin to Woodhouse but Stefy Bull and myself had originally agreed verbally to do the fight with John Wayne Hibbert. It was a good offer on both sides,” explained Greaves to Boxing Social.
Woodhouse and Hibbert have a bit of beef since the two have been jabbing at each other a lot on social media. Greaves is expecting a good fight but ultimately sees his fighter outboxing the ex-footballer.
“It will be a good fight. Both former champions. Woodhouse is a former British champion and Hibbert is a former commonwealth champion and WBC International Champion. Hibbert will outbox him and beat him by points,” predicted Greaves.
