Last month Carl Frampton officially announced his departure from Cyclone Promotions, Barry McGuigan and Shane McGuigan.
“Having taken time to consider my future and discussed it with those closest to me, I am confident that now is the right time to move forward and take my career into my own hands. I still believe that I’m the best featherweight in the world and I promise my fans that I am continuing my efforts to get my homecoming fight rescheduled in the very near future,” wrote Frampton in a statement.
‘The Jackal’ has found himself a new coach and is getting ready to face his next challenge.

Moore, a former European champion, ended his professional fighting career in 2010 and began training fighters such as Matthew Macklin, Tommy Coyle and now – Carl ‘The Jackal’ Frampton.
As for what’s next for Frampton? Here are a few possible match ups.
After the debacle that was Andres Gutierrez and ‘the shower incident’, Frampton is yet again without an official opponent.
IBF World featherweight champion Lee Selby has said that he’s willing to fight Frampton as soon as possible.
“He should come straight now into a world title fight against me. It makes sense rather than waiting around. We should do it in October or November now,” said Selby in an interview.
There’s also the very slim possibility of Frampton fighting Leo Santa Cruz for the third time but that seems to be highly unlikely at this point.
