Carl Froch has weighed in on the upcoming fight between Ryan Garcia and Devin Haney and given his prediction.
On paper, this is a good fight between two talented boxers although Haney is the much more proven fighter and is known for professionally going about his business.
Garcia however has been in the spotlight for some of the wrong reasons over his career and has previously had to take time out to get his mental health issues sorted.
This time around he has again had people worried about his state of mind due to his erratic behaviour but the fight goes ahead this weekend at the Barclays Centre in New York.
The pair have argued verbally and had physical altercations with threats set both ways and bets being made on the outcome of the fight.
Now, Speaking on Froch on Fighting, ‘The Cobra’ has had his say.
“Good fight, great fight, I think Devin Haney is going to be too much for him.”
He then expressed his concerns about Garcia’s recent behaviour.
“He’s been acting very strange and trying to go on social media and drum up interest. He’s saying some mad things. His head went and he went too much over the top on social media and I hope he’s going to be ok but I think Devin Haney is going to be too much for him, I think he is a level above him. “
The fight will be shown live around the world on DAZN pay-per-view.
