Dereck Chisora has posted a photo on social media today with Bob Arum and Frank Warren – sparking questions as to whether a potential trilogy fight with Tyson Fury could still be on the table.
The photo of Chisora and the two promoters – who both represent Fury – was posted to Chisora’s Instagram account with the caption ‘two legends in the game.’
Talk of a third fight between the two Brits sparked last month, when Fury named ‘Del Boy’ as his desired comeback opponent when he announced his return to boxing.
However, the hype recently has been all around a potential fight between Fury and Anthony Joshua, with boxing fans around the world sent into overdrive on Monday when ‘The Gypsy King’ called out Joshua on social media.
As to a fight between Fury and Chisora, many fans were less than enthusiastic about the prospect of a third meeting between the two. Fury was a comprehensive winner in their first two meetings and many believe Chisora has regressed significantly since then.
Even amidst longstanding calls for his retirement, it is clear ‘War’ Chisora is going nowhere and, if the picture posted with Warren and Arum is anything to go by, another fight with Fury may not be off the cards
