Chris Eubank Jr Mocks Weight Cut Again Amidst Fight Controversy

Many people involved in the fight with Chris Eubank Jr and Conor Benn may be stressing after recent news. Eubank Jr is not one of them.

In his latest update, Eubank Jr tucks into a fancy desert in an upmarket eatery. The video, posted on his Instagram, comes amid rumours that his father is pulling him out of the fight. The reason? A dangerous weight cut.

Eubank Jr is clearly enjoying the build up to the fight – both in terms of joking about the weight and eating what he wants.

Not long ago he was pictured eating from a family-sized bucket of fried chicken, despite admitting that coming in at the 157lbs catchweight would leave his performance levels at 60%.

Many questions remain, the most prominent perhaps being has he spoken to Eubank Sr about how he feels about the fight?

The former fighter, whose rivalry with Nigel Benn planted the seeds for this bout between their sons, was adamant that he would pull the plug, even suggesting he could pursue legal routes.

Unfortunately, as funny as it may be, Eubank Jr’s latest video does nothing to answer this. Even now that it seems, should the fight go ahead, that his father is unlikely to be in his corner, he looks a picture of happiness.

More news is certain to break in the coming days. The fight, as of now, has been confirmed to be on by promoter Kalle Sauerland.
