Floyd Mayweather’s latest videos of him in a mixed martial arts cage may be just a publicity stunt, but the posts have raised rumours of a Mayweather-McGregor rematch inside the UFC Octagon.

Floyd hasn’t said much regarding his MMA related videos but McGregor demands that Mayweather should put his money where his mouth is.
In a recent interview the Irishman stated that Mayweather has to accept the challenge since McGregor took on the task of stepping into a boxing ring.
“I’d do as I please against him inside the Octagon. But if he does do it – I know he’s flirting with it – I would have respect for him. I think he would get his earned respect,” told McGregor in an interview with Adam Glyn.
But should Floyd’s videos be just for show, McGregor thinks a publicity stunt of this magnitude would haunt Mayweather ‘for the rest of his days.’
“If it is (all talk), it will follow him for the rest of his days that he did not do it. I said I would (fight him in boxing), I stepped up, and I did it,” told ‘The Notorious’
McGregor has made it clear he will fight in the cage again in this year but as to what to comes to opponents, he hasn’t forgotten about Mayweather.
“I’m currently in negotiations to face my next opponent. We have many options. There’s the current interim lightweight champion [Tony Ferguson], there’s an undefeated Dagestani [Khabib Nurmagomedov], maybe a big Russian event. There’s obviously the Nate Diaz trilogy.
“Of course, the Mayweather fight is there.
Hahahaha very good. Keep up the good work my son.
Yours sincerely,
Senior. https://t.co/Qk3U69isTS— Conor McGregor (@TheNotoriousMMA) January 30, 2018
“There’s many options (and) we’re at the table at the moment. Times are good, life is good,” concluded McGregor.
