The colossal right hand of Daniel Dubois made quick work of AJ Carter at the Copper Box Arena.
‘Triple D’ started efficiently and dropped Carter with his first shot of the fight, a strong right hand.
Carter got up and Dubois went straight back into work. ‘Dynamite’ threw a flurry of punches and eventually dropped the ‘Big Dog’ again with a strong right hand.
It was clear that Carter was not gonna last and Dubois finished the job with a thunderous right hand.
The young Dubois has now won five fights in a row all via knockout. With his latest win, Dubois becomes the current BBBoC Southern Area Heavyweight champion.
After the fight his promoter Frank Warren and analyst Steve Bunce were very impressed with what they saw.
“He’s the hardest single punch fighter in Britain and possibly in the world,” said Boxnation’s Bunce after the fight.
Warren commented that Dubois should be in the mix for fighting Anthony Joshua in 2018.
The young heavyweight was not loud or cocky after the fight. In an interview with Boxnation, Dubois said that he trained hard for the fight and did not even hit Carter with his strongest punch.
