An interested spectator for the WBO world middleweight title action this past weekend in Montreal, Canada was the former WBA world middleweight title-holder, Danny Jacobs.
Danny Jacobs aired his reaction to Saturday night’s proceedings live on social media and he followed the reading out of the official scorecard by making his intentions clear.

Those intentions are that he is training his crosshairs on a fight with the recently victorious, WBO world middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders.
It will represent an interesting match-up for Jacobs, ‘The Miracle Man’ poses significant problems with his size, reach and power advantages, while also crucially demonstrating an IQ and footspeed to rival that of the Briton’s.
“Big ups to HBO Boxing, putting on another good card of fights tonight,” ‘The Miracle Man’ began.
“I just wanted to say congrats to B.J Saunders, but this is an official call out. I want to fight,” Jacobs explained.
“I want to make the fight happen and I think this is so easy to make. It makes sense because Canelo and GGG are fighting soon, there is no other opponent out there for you.”
“So let’s make the fight happen, this is what the fans want to see.”

“There is no other fight out there for him if he is trying to get the top dogs. They tied up right now, you know.”
“He is champion, but people are considering me to be above him as far as in the rankings, the general consensus.”
“People consider me to be one of the best, if not the best middleweight in the world. Second best, third, however, you want to put it.”
“B.J Saunders just made a statement but he has still got to go through the likes of a Daniel Jacobs and the top guys like that.”
“But let’s make this fight happen; 2018. Saunders vs Jacobs.” ‘The Miracle Man’ concluded.
Daniel Jacobs was last seen in the ring, when he overcame the challenge posed by the previously undefeated Luis Arias in Long Island, NY on November 11th.
