The dust has settled on this weekend’s heated confrontation between Jermall Charlo and Daniel Jacobs. Both fighters have had choice words for one another, following coming face to face for the first time at the Wilder vs Ortiz world heavyweight championship showdown at The Barclays Center.
Jacobs is next scheduled to be back in the ring on April 28th where he will lock horns with Maciej Sulecki.
On the other hand, Jermall Charlo is next scheduled to be out a week earlier on April 21st where he will challenge for the vacant WBC interim middleweight title.

Jacobs stated that while his focus is totally directed on Sulecki at this moment in time.
However ‘The Miracle Man’ shared if he cannot secure his goal of taking on the winner of Canelo – Golovkin II, a clash with Jermall Charlo is a viable and intriguing back up option.
“All my focus right now is on Maciej Sulecki and I know it’s going to be a tough fight.”
“This is the third undefeated fighter I have faced in a row and after I’ve taken his 0.”
“Then if I don’t get the ‘GGG’ vs. Canelo winner, I’m happy to take Jermall Charlo’s 0 too.”

Matchroom mogul, Eddie Hearn who recently added Jacobs to his roster after announcing a foray into the American market.
“I think Danny vs. Jermall Charlo is a great fight but we have plenty of business to take care of first.”
