It wasn’t exactly the storybook comeback people had hoped for Tyson Fury in Manchester. The main event with him and Sefer Seferi left a bad taste despite ‘The Gypsy King’s’ stoppage victory after the Albanian quit on his stool before the fifth round.
Matchroom promoter Eddie Hearn described it ’embarrassing’ and said that it devalued Fury in a very bad way. Promoter Frank Warren has confirmed that Fury will fight again on August 18 in Belfast but Hearn isn’t expecting anything different.
“It was awful. The next one is in Belfast in August? Don’t expect anybody, expect it to be just as bad,” said Hearn to Boxing Social.

Recently retired two-weight former world champion David Haye doubts whether we will ever see the Tyson Fury who outclassed Wladimir Klitschko back in November, 2015.
However, ‘The Hayemaker’ does have hopes of seeing his former rival Tony Bellew eventually challenge Fury down the line.
“I would like to see Bellew in there with Fury, I think that would be a great fight,” said in an exclusive interview with The Sun.
“Bellew has proved his credentials at heavyweight by beating me twice when no-one really gave him a shot.”
“I don’t believe Fury is the man of old.
“I believe the Tyson Fury that beat Wladimir Klitschko would handle Bellew pretty easily but I’m not sure that guy will ever be seen again.”
