Just less than four weeks to go until Tony Bellew and David Haye share the ring once more at the O2 in London as one of the most anticipated domestic rematches of the year draws closer.
Recently the WBC Emeritus World cruiserweight champion posted a compilation video of the many incidents between the two and also left a message for Haye.
“David You’re a fraud son it’s that simple. On May 5th it is all over for you. No more sore toes no more injuries it’s OVER,” wrote Bellew on Twitter.
I don’t forget! “Your getting comatosed” “This will be your last EVER fight” “I’m going to crush you skull” “Your children will visit you in hospital” 😏 David your a fraud son it’s that simple! On May 5th it’s over for you! No more sore toes no more injuries it’s OVER! #Repeatpic.twitter.com/LHe57NOHVr

Haye then took action and posted a response to Bellew.
“So much has happened over the last couple years, it’s easy to forget how it all started. Let me refresh your memories!
“As fun as the #HayeBellew saga has been, in less than 4 weeks time, in the very same arena our first battle happened, I will get my revenge and put an abrupt end to it all,” wrote the former world heavyweight champion.
Bellew stopped Haye in their first encounter back in March last year. After the fight, it was revealed that Haye sustained an Achilles injury during the bout which clearly played a part in the clash. After having surgery and rehabbing his injury, the rematch was pencilled for December 17 but Haye was forced to pull out due to a bicep injury.
When speaking to Boxing Social, Haye promised to get the job finally done against ‘The Bomber.’
“I can do it by getting back to my best. By working and focusing on my attributes, what I do well, what I don’t do well. Being realistic about my physicalities. Knowing the injuries that I’ve had, how I work around those injuries. In the past, I just assumed get into the ring and land some shots in the fight but as you get older you don’t recover like you use to,” explained Haye to Boxing Social.
