The WBC world heavyweight champion, Deontay ‘The Bronze Bomber’ Wilder will look to make the seventh defence of his world heavyweight title next weekend.
He will take on what many are viewing as his toughest opposition to date. He will lock horns with decorated Cuban amateur and southpaw slickster, the undefeated Luis ‘King Kong’ Ortiz.
Wilder shared some words of warning for the Cuban ahead of their highly anticipated showdown where both men put their undefeated records on the line.
“Somebody’s ‘0’, got to go and you all already know what I come to do. I talk my talk to walk my walk. It’s going to be up to Luis Ortiz to prove me wrong.”
“He’s got an opportunity to be the first Cuban heavyweight champion of the world.”
“It sounds good but he got a big task in front of him. He dealing with a monster. He dealing with a guy with a killer instinct,” Wilder said.
It's time to settle this once and for all.

“He dealing with a guy that ain’t afraid of not one human being on Earth, especially when you get in that jungle and I am the king of the jungle.”
Wilder added his belief that Ortiz has never seen opposition as dangerous as him, before.
“I am the lion of the jungle. He’s never faced nobody with the pedigree with the killer instinct that I have inside of me.”
“He’s never faced a guy that wanted to knock his head off, clean off his shoulders.”
“He never been in there with a guy that won’t back down, won’t budge;” Wilder added.
“I can’t wait. I hope he’s sleeping good, too.”
Lastly, Wilder says he hopes Ortiz is getting all the best treatment ahead of their showdown. Wilder went on to warn that their fight is going to be ‘a real fight’.
“I hope you’re getting all your minerals, your protein and you’re taking your medicine faithfully because March the 3rd it’s going to be a real fight.”
