British heavyweight veteran, Derek Chisora, confronted journalist, Simon Jordan, following the conclusion of Artur Beterbiev vs Anthony Yarde.
The TalkSPORT co-host has previously claimed that Chisora was building a pension fund by taking his recent fight with Tyson Fury and branded the fight a ‘tragedy’ after it was announced.
Jordan also told Frank Warren, the promoter of the fight, that he was taking fans for “mugs” for “putting on a pup of a fight, with an outcome that we already know is going to be the case and charging top money for it”.
Jordan was doing an interview with Pro Boxing Fans, following the conclusion of Beterbiev’s eighth-round knockout victory over Yarde, when ‘Del Boy’ barged into the 55-year-old.
But instead of confrontation, the two simply aimed banter at each other over jewellery and spray tans.
Chisora may well have bought his new chain with the money from the Fury fight, and could buy plenty more according to reports, with Manchester Evening News saying that Chisora earnt £3.1 million, plus a 20% split of the pay-per-view revenue.
Fans remain in the dark about whether that will be the last time that they see the 39-year-old in the ring, such was the one-sided nature of the fight.
There are still a handful of options left for Chisora if he decides to carry on – a trilogy against Dillian Whyte and a crossover fight with ex-UFC heavyweight champion, Francis Ngannou, being right at the top of the list.
