Derek Chisora has continued to praise Jake Paul, this time claiming that the 26-year-old American would beat former multiple super middleweight word champion, Carl Froch.
Whenever he’s been asked about Paul in the past, Froch has remained adamant that, whilst entertaining, the young man has no right to call himself a professional fighter.
The hall-of-famer recently said that he could never face the American – who has made it his business to fight retired combat sports stars – because he was a professional fighter who wouldn’t take a dive.
Paul caught wind of the comments and offered Froch a two-fight deal – face Anderson Silva, his most recent win, and then Paul himself.
As the boxing world discusses the developments, Chisora has claimed that he would put a lot of money on Jake Paul winning that bout. He spoke to IFL TV.
“Carl Froch, go in there, get [your] arse beaten up and then get your cheque bro.”
“He will beat Carl Froch, you know. He will beat Carl Froch. The Cobra. He will take the venom out The Cobra and then pump him up.”
“I’m willing to be two hundred grand that Carl Froch will get his arse dealt with. I am being 100% serious.”

With his newly announced role of an ambassador of boxing in Saudi Arabia, perhaps ‘Del Boy’ has his promoter hat on and has spotted a future event for the Kingdom and Jake Paul.
Either way, it’s unlikely to sit will with Froch, who has in the past said he could beat the American YouTuber-turned-fighter without any training.
Paul’s next test, though, is Tommy Fury. He faces the half-brother of the heavyweight champion on Sunday in Saudi, with Chisora watching on front and centre.
