Bill Haney, father of current undisputed lightweight champion Devin, has released a clip from a previous sparring session between his son and rival Shakur Stevenson after the two went back-and-forth on social media.
Devin Haney defeated George Kambosos Jr to claim all four belts in the lightweight division last year, and ever since he has had a target on his back.
Meanwhile, Stevenson moved into the division in April, defeating Shuichiro Yoshino on his debut at the weight after previously achieving world honours at featherweight and super-featherweight.
Haney went on to defeat Vasily Lomachenko in his second defence of the undisputed crown after a Kambosos rematch, and Stevenson – as mandatory challenger – jumped in the ring afterwards to hype up a clash between the two undefeated Americans.
However, Haney has since announced his intentions of moving up to the super-lightweight division to take on Regis Prograis, leaving Stevenson to fight for the vacant WBC belt against Frank Martin.
This week, Stevenson took their rivalry a step further, leaking a video that he believes to show Bill Haney admitting that he has always had the better of his son.
Now, the 44-year-old has responded by uploading footage of a young Stevenson admitting that he was too tired to continue sparring against Devin.
‼️ Devin Haney's father/trainer Bill Haney has now leaked this clip of Shakur Stevenson saying "I'm tired" and seemingly ending a sparring session with Devin in response to the video being leaked of his secretly recorded conversation…

Despite Haney’s decision to fight Prograis, talks between the pair appear to be taking longer than expected, casting doubt upon whether the contest will happen or not.
The WBC have confirmed that Stevenson’s fight with Martin will be for the title.
