Diego Pacheco stopped Jack Cullen in the fourth round of their super middleweight contest to cement his status as a serious prospect.
The fight topped the bill on Matchroom and DAZN’s Liverpool show at the M&S Bank Arena after Callum Smith pulled out of his Pawel Stepien light heavyweight scrap due to injury.
Cullen opened the bout with a good jab and worked well throughout the first, but the American took charge from then on and landed some hurtful right hands.
The fourth saw Pacheco catch Cullen with a big right hand and wobble him. The Englishman managed to duck the oncoming hook that followed, but was caught clean with a perfect left hand to the body and touched down in serious pain.

He made the count, but Pacheco pounced. Two lefts and a straight right had Cullen’s head rocked and he was on his way down again as the referee stepped in to stop it.
