Jarrell Miller stopped Lucas Browne in the sixth round of their (very) heavyweight contest in Dubai, but Dillian Whyte believes him to be no threat to the division.
Miller’s career has been stop-start since serving two bans for separate doping offences, the first of which saw a world title shot and career highest payday against Anthony Joshua disappear.
Since then, the Brooklyn native has fought three times – two wins in 2022 and the Browne victory – and has made it clear that he wants world honours.
The fight was a slugfest, with the 43-year-old Browne game but there to have the energy beaten out of him. Miller – who weighed in at 333lb beforehand – took plenty of shots cleanly too, although remained unhurt as he walked the Aussie down.
Despite the brash American’s plans to continue straight to the top of the heavyweight scene, someone who has been hovering around there for years believes he doesn’t stand a chance.
Whyte – who was last out in a points victory over Jermaine Franklin to bounce back from his unsuccessful title challenge against Tyson Fury – was watching the fight, and delivered a damning yet simple verdict.
Miller is so so so so shit

Miller called out both Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua in the aftermath, but Mahmoud Charr entered the ring to try and set up a scrap, and that may be a more realistic option for ‘Big Baby’ currently.
There has been talk of a fight with Whyte in the past, with Miller’s co-promoter Dmitry Salita eager to pit the two against one another. Both big men have kickboxing backgrounds, are brawlers, and would deliver on the beef beforehand.
Whyte, though, could also be angling for a Joshua bout. The pair fought in 2015 – an ‘AJ’ KO victory – and a rematch has been rumoured for some time now.
