Dillian Whyte has hit back at Anthony Joshua’s latest statement on their potential rematch, urging his countryman to ‘make the fight’ and stop ‘talking s**t.’
August 12 seems to be the date for the bitter rivals to run it back, and promoter Eddie Hearn has tentatively booked London’s O2 Arena to host.
It’s a fight that has been rumoured for a while now, and seems a natural step for both men who had a 2022 to forget and are looking at one last crack at the top dogs.
Despite the recent positive comments from Hearn, Joshua’s latest input was less than inspiring. He took to social media to say he ‘doesn’t know anything about talks to fight Dillian Whyte.’
‘The Bodysnatcher’ – who lost to Joshua by knockout back in 2015 – has now responded, branding his for ‘a weird guy.’
“How’s about you stop being a b**ch and let’s make the fight you f***ing weird guy, always talking s**t tweeting stuff then deleting be a man you little b**ch.”

Whyte has expressed his frustrations over the past few months at how the situation with ‘AJ’ has played out.
Joshua’s comeback fight after two losses to Oleksandr Usyk was Jermaine Franklin this April – something Whyte branded a joke given that he himself had beaten Franklin last November.
He’s long called for a second crack at the former champion, but seems to be losing his tether in the drawn-out process.
As for Joshua, he’s expected to fill the O2 Arena on August regardless of who the opponent is before proceeding to a mega-money fight with Deontay Wilder in December.
