According to boxingnewsonline.net, A date and a name have been set for Chris Eubank Jr as he starts preparing for his next fight in the ring.
The fight will be the quarter-final bout in the World Boxing Super Series as the battle of the Muhammad Ali Trophy continues.
Eubank Jr will face Turkey’s Avni Yildirim on October 7th in Stuttgart, Germany. This will be Eubank Jr’s second fight outside of the UK but the IBO super middleweight champion is not bothered by this at all.
“I don’t mind about fighting in Germany. I honestly don’t mind where I fight. I could be fighting in a phone box. It really doesn’t matter to me as long as I get the win that’s all I care about,” he said according to boxingnewsonline.net.
Yildirim (16-0, 10 KO’s) is certainly not the household name that Eubank Jr is and the IBO champion expects to knock him out easily.
“Yildirim’s chin hasn’t been tested, I will test it to the absolute limit and if it has even the slightest bit of weakness he won’t last six rounds,” commented Eubank Jr.
Eubank Jr last fought against Arthur Abraham this past July and won via unanimous decision.
