The Sky Sports debut of Joseph Parker could come against a former Tyson Fury opponent.
Otto Wallin took Fury the 12-round distance three years ago and is now in the running to face the New Zealander.
Parker put pen to paper on a promotional deal with Boxxer recently and their CEO Ben Shalom told the Daily Mirror an offer has been received for a Wallin fight.
“We are still hopeful of the Dillian Whyte rematch and Joe Joyce fight for him, but we have had an offer for him to fight Otto Wallin.”
Wallin is promoted by Dmitry Salita who has already worked with Boxxer and Sky Sports on a recent fight announcement. The ex-fighter promotes Claressa Shields, and the American will travel to London in September to fight Savannah Marshall for the Undisputed Female Middleweight crown.
Parker, a former WBO Heavyweight champion, had been due to face Joe Joyce earlier this month but the deal fell apart.
Shalom added two other names to Parker’s wish list and hopes to make an opponent announcement for their new heavyweight addition soon.
“He would also like the fights with Deontay Wilder and Andy Ruiz.”
“He wants to fight anyone and everyone but the end of September or early October he will be fighting.”
“We are still hopeful of making the fights we identified at the start, and we think Joseph is going to perform very well on Sky. We think that one of these fights will be announced in the next couple of weeks.”
