Fabio Wardley vs Daniel Dubois Weigh-in Results

Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois have weighed in just over ten pounds apart ahead of their WBO heavyweight world title fight tomorrow night in Manchester courtesy of Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, broadcast live on DAZN.

Dubois (22-3, 21 KOs) hit the scales first at 251.7lbs, followed by defending champion Wardley (20-0-1, 19 KOs), who weighed in at 242.2lbs. Wardley came in around the same weight as before although Dubois comes into the bout nearly 9lbs heavier than his last fight with Oleksandr Usyk.

Wardley and Dubois both made their way to the newly formed ‘Cauldron’ hosted by none other than TalkSport’s Simon Jordan. Jordan asked Wardley why he picked Dubois: “It’s not an easy night’s work by any means,” Wardley replied. “But I’m not know for picking an easy night’s work, I;m known for picking the best and biggest challenges out there. Before Daniel it was Joseph Parker. And when I’m done with him, I’ll be picking the best names out there as well.”

Jordan also asked Dubois which version of him would be on display in Manchester: “I’m ready to seek and destroy,” Dubois answered. “I’m ready to turn up man. I’m on it.” He also added “Talking is done now, I’m ready for war!”
