Mayweather gave his opinion on Conor’s shots and thought that most of them looked like illegal blows.

“I had a chance to see it and my thoughts is, it was real interesting.But, you know, a lot of rabbit punching, illegal rabbit punching behind the head. A lot of shots were illegal. A lot of grappling, a lot of wrestling, a lot of illegal shots. That’s just my honest opinion,” pondered Floyd.

Conor’s tactics against Malignaggi implied that the Irishman is willing to bend the rules a bit. However, Floyd wasn’t worried about this.

“Even though he had Joe Cortez in his training camp, I still seen him being extremely dirty,” he said.

As we all know, Mayweather has made a career in professional boxing as being the best defensive fighter of his era. But against McGregor, we might see a different Floyd in the ring.
