It is known that Floyd Mayweather will make an insane amount of money from fighting against Conor McGregor this month.
Despite the fact that he’s been out for two years, Mayweather still gets a pay day like no other.
“I mean, am I the highest-paid athlete out there? And just coming back? We not talking about no contract. We not talking about no contract for no four years or no contract for no five years. I can do it in 36 minutes. $300 (million) or better. In 36 minutes,” said Floyd during Showtime’s All Access episode according to TMZ Sports.
It was reported just before the world press tour that Mayweather allegedly had some tax issues with the IRS. Floyd himself has denied those claims and says that he is far from broke.
“I’m not hurting. I’m far from hurting. I got paper. I can’t say what Conor McGregor is doing, I can’t say what the UFC is paying him. But every month, I make millions,” said Mayweather.
The will be paper and lots of it after August 26th.
“So back like I was saying, before the money interrupted us, they call me ‘Money Mayweather for a reason,’ I’mma get it, regardless,” he told.
The anticipated ‘Money Fight’ between Mayweather and McGregor is just three weeks away.
