Frank Warren has issued a response to Anthony Joshua’s public acceptance of terms for a mega fight on December 3rd – and it looks like more good news for British fight fans.
After a post this morning from AJ’s management company 258 confirming Joshua’s agreement to the conditions laid out by Team Fury, the Queensberry boss took to his own personal Twitter account to tell Joshua and his team to expect a contract shortly.
“Contract will be with you very soon.”

Fans and pundits alike were concerned a dispute over the date of the potential bout could prove a stumbling block, with Fury offering either November 26th or December 3rd, whilst Eddie Hearn suggesting Joshua would not be ready until December 17th.
Thankfully it appears there has now been some movement on this front from Joshua’s side and we should have a green light for the legacy defining fight on December 3rd – if all parties’ public statements are to be believed.
Warren had said over the weekend that negotiations for the all British clash had been put on hold following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, and many fans feared this was the start of a breakdown in communication between the camps.
However, with the purse split, date and presumably location all now agreed, perhaps fans across the globe can dare to dream that we may finally see one of the biggest heavyweight fights of all time.
