Eddie Hearn spoke to Boxing Social this morning and he touched on a number of topics including James DeGale, Katie Taylor, Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. Once again the Matchroom mogul detailed his intention to work with the former unified world heavyweight champion, Tyson Fury.
“We all want him back in the sport, I’d love to work with him. I’ve said before, I can deliver the Anthony Joshua fight; of course we are the only people who can,” Hearn began.
Hearn once again reaffirmed his desire to make a fight between Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury. But first, he feels Fury will have to realign his career with some solid performances to show he is still worthy of a title shot.

“I think Joshua would like that fight. But he has to get back on the horse and show he is back in the game.”
We pressed Hearn for his opinion on Tyson Fury’s recent posts on social media. Fury has made multiple posts detailing his efforts to shed the enormous weight gain he has amassed in an attempt to once again whip himself into fighting shape.
On the topic of those videos, it is fair to say Hearn is not too impressed just yet.
“It is about 30 seconds long,” Hearn stated when beginning to deliver his opinion on Fury’s recent social media posts.
“You don’t know if he was on the floor (struggling to breathe) after the clip,” Hearn added.

“He is never going to look like he doesn’t have great movement. But training is more than doing 30 seconds on the pad sticks. It is more about the intense training. The sprints, the long runs, we haven’t seen any of that so he has got a long way to go.”
“I believe his head is in the game. If he can get the decision from UKAD then he has to go before the board (BBBoC). He can come back in 2018 and we can build a massive fight,” Hearn added.
Tyson Fury’s UKAD hearing resumes today and he could potentially hear a verdict on his future by the end of the week.
Speaking exclusively told Sky Sports, Fury shared: “Hopefully they will do the right thing. I want to get back out there. I know what the outcome should be.
“End of April, early May. I will be ready by that time, fit and strong. The training plan is set up, so I will be ready by then.”
