Yesterday it was promised that an official fight announcement will happen today regarding Anthony Joshua versus Kubrat Pulev.
Both promoter Eddie Hearn and Joshua’s manager Freddie Cunningham confirmed the announcement.
Hearn has now tweeted the official poster and thus making it officially official (despite Pulev spilling the beans yesterday on his Facebook page): Joshua v Pulev, October 28th at Principality Stadium in Cardiff.
Joshua also posted a video announcing the fight.

Matchroom also tweeted information about tickets and the undercard.
Joshua will defend all of his world title belts against Kubrat Pulev. The Bulgarian is the official IBF mandatory challenger but he now has a shot at taking all the titles away from Joshua.
The Watford born boxer won the IBF belt originally back in 2016 against Charles Martin via stoppage. He then fought Wladimir Klitschko for the vacant IBO title and the Ukrainian’s WBA title. Joshua stopped Klitschko on his feet and gained both titles.
He was scheduled to defend all of his titles against Klitschko on October 28th in Cardiff or November 11th in Las Vegas but after a long period of negotiating, the 41-year old veteran decided to retire from professional boxing. Thus ensuring that Pulev will get a crack at the current heavyweight kingpin of boxing.
